Long time between visits which is probably why I am only reviewing 2204 now. The coffee is smooth and mild. I usually prefer a more robust coffee yet it passed my two coffee test and I ordered a second piccolo. Hubs got the French toast which comes with crispy bacon and maple syrup. He thought it was a little light on syrup and was given extra. I had the Baked Huevos Rancheros. Really delicious and a decent amount of tortilla to spread the baked goodness on.
WOW! What an amazing cafe who aren’t stingy with their servings. We ordered the healthy hazard and chicken burger and our fungry stomachs were satisfied. The fresh juices are also a must!
I love this cafe so much.. One of the best cafe i’ve visited so far in Sydney..Great coffee, awesome staff, amazing food and good atmosphere…Highly Recommended!! So far i’m so happy with everything in this place
Staffs are all friendly, Nice fresh food and coffee was really good.Change some menus weekly I think, good too.Definitely my favourite cafe for a moment.
Amazing place. 2204 is one of the best cafes in marrickville. Amazing food and staff, Rad vibe, menu changes so that there is always something new happening and the staff are totally cool with you making it up as you go. It’s a tiny slice of Brooklyn in the inner west and the courtyard out the back is awesome on a sunny day. 10/10
Amazing!. Who the heck has the guts to criticise this cafe?! It’s literally the best coffee ever and the ‘Asian guy’ is a bloody champion
Not happy. This used to be my favourite cafe. My wife and I have enjoyed breakfast on the weekend here on a regular basis. The cafe appears to have recently changed hands. The coffee, which used to be consistently great, is now awful and barely drinkable. The service was terrible as when we asked to speak to the manager about the size and price of our meals (different to previous dining experience and the menu) we were spoken harshly at by an Asian man we could barely understand. Will not be returning and telling all out friends in the local marrickville area. Such a shame! This cafe used to be great.
