4-3 years ago this cafe was amazing, great prices and the food was even better. However, it has been on a steady decline since. I took my family to this cafe and we all felt the food was very bland. The bacon and egg sandwiches were dry, I ask for mine with BBQ and received tomato sauce from the man who owns the cafe. I then told him about this and he instead brought me over a bottle of BBQ. The table service has also decline, we were not even offered any tap water.Ultimately, the service and the food is no longer worth the price, it seems as if the success of the cafe has inflated it’s own ego. No matter, new cafes in the area are opening up regularly now that this’ll soon collapse.
The staff were lovely and hospitable, the food served promptly and a nice atmosphere however the food was disappointing. I ordered a wrap which was mostly lettuce and drowned in sauce. The few bits of chicken that were included were overcooked and dry. Two others on my table did not receive bacon within their ordered meal and overall comments were that the taste was bland. If the food was improved this would be a great place to call my local.
