Instantly my favourite Greek restaurant in Sydney! If it didn’t renovate last year, it would still look like a typical run down taverna on the Greek Isles! Whilst this place do home cook Greek dishes like moussaka, you don’t come here for home cook Greek food! My mates and I came on Saturday. For entree (no photos), we shared Greek salad, tzatziki and preserved sardines. The salad was great! Must be the feta. the tzatziki was really good. The olive oil probably made the difference. The low point was the sardines. It tasted like canned anchovies. I mean, I liked it but nothing to write about. For main, we got both the BBQ lamb and pork. We decided on that as we thought we could get more meat. Both were good. And as a free side for every main you get, we chose chips and eggplant. But for me, the best thing was the Octopus (came with potatoes not pictured) and the Lamb Head! The head came with brain, tongue and the eyeballs. Sounds off but tasted almost like heaven! The side was the white beans or fasolada, and… it was great! The service is good. Felt welcomed and the fresh off the boat (or plane) waiters were professional and friendly. TBH they could of been more attentive but nonetheless a great evening.I highly recommend the place for those after home cook Greek food and to try the Octopus and the Lamb Head. Just trust me with this! Can’t wait to come back!
