Got taken out for a birthday lunch. Excellent service, decor, plants everywhere& all were for sale. I had the beef gnocchi- tasty. A little on the over cooked side for the actual gnocchi but tasty none the less. The pictured items were for other guests. Most loved their meals. The acceptional gift was the delightful dessert with edible flowers-presented well, tasty and nicely balanced sweetness.
A wonderful treat to be able to try so many of the yummy items off the menu! Close by to Marrickville train station. Service is absolutely lovely here. They were very accommodating of our group and nothing was too much for them. There were quite a few highlights amongst the group. The House Made Gnocchi was served with a beef ragu. Well made pasta with melt in the mouth beef, the flavours screamed awesome! The Mixed Mushroom Broth was packed full of flavour too. Really enjoyed the udon noodles and great accompaniment to it. The Barbecue Eggplant was a very meaty vegetarian dish and cooked to perfection. It not only looked pretty, it was very tasty. Saganaki Prawns and Poached Salmon Salad were also contenders for top dish too!Loved the Egyptian Iced Tea I got as looked amazing and tasted like heaven. So refreshing and so yum.Overall quite an extensive all day breakfast menu to suit most and lunch starts at 1130 so late brunch would be the time to visit so you can sample any of the entire menu!
An absolutely gorgeous space that’s airy, light, roomy. Love all the flowers hanging off the ceiling and adorning the large space. The staff are so friendly & welcoming and the menu looks fantastic. The avocado on sourdough with poached egg which was done well with a runny centre and there was a generous dollop of avocado. The sourdough was a generous slab but it may have been a little over toasted as it was difficult to cut. The grilled eggplant is another beautiful dish and good for those wanting a lighter meal. The homemade brownie was studded with walnuts and cranberries which had good flavour although a tad dry and too crumbly for my liking. Coffees are good & the cups are generous on size. The lunch menu also sound fantastic and I’d love to come back and try the saganaki prawns and gnocchi!
