The unusual mix of stuff in koshari works really well and was nicely spiced. It seems expensive, starting at $10, but I suspect that there are a lot of calories in this and you also get an Egyptian-decorated dining area that must be the pick of the markets. Even a felafel roll is $12 but you can add felafel to the koshari and it was top-class felafel, crispy on the outside and so green inside.
