Announced in Good Food Australias top 20 cafes in Sydney for 2018, so you know its going to be good. Enjoyed a delicious brunch at Matinee and tried the Pork Cassoulet, Reuben and falafel salad. Absolutely loved the pork cassoulet, so warm and hearty, perfect for winter. The poached eggs were cooked beautifully. Reuben was tasty but was a bit messy to eat so expect your hands to need a good wipe afterwards. Salad was light and a good option if you dont feel like anything heavy or filling. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the place is buzzing all the time so expect a wait for a table. The wait was definitely worth it at the end. Will be coming back again!
