Loved this place. Food and presentation were excellent. The bread rated amazing and was perfectly lightly toasted. The salami and kraut complimented each other well. I got the east coast which was $13. They have a deal on weekdays too where if you purchase any sandwich, chips and a can of drink is $2.50. The chips are quite decent – very crispy. Excellent service and some seating inside and a couple of small tables outside.
Their pastrami is wonderfully tender but has a very light flavour. They pack a lot of it into the reuben and it’s generally a tasty sandwich, however, the bread seemed pretty old. Both faces of the slices were firm and rough but ripping one apart showed the interior to be soft, so I think that the actual slices of bread must have been sitting around for quite a while. Their reuben is also more expensive than some other good reubens in Sydney.
