I rate the Grifter as one of the better beers – at least their flagship pale ale, some of the rest are overly fruity. However, it’s also one of the most expensive beers around, so it could be good to come to the source where the prices are lower than in pubs. $5 or $6 for middies – but note all ponies are $3.50, so the $6 beers are better value as a pony. The bar’s quite nice, too, nice tables in the warehouse. The Vic’s next door if you get bored.
