Coffee was really good! I am passionate about food and I like opened kitchen’s cafes. They are actually serving good quality food. They know what they are doing.Congrats chefs!Service was excellent, the waitress helped me with the menu. I recommend this place
Two Chaps is located in what looks like someone’s garage, with a from-scratch cooking philosophy serving up antipasti and pasta to friendly locals. So far, so Marrickville. However this place is worth the trip, with house-made grissini accompanying pickled vegetables and hummus, delicious pastas such as pillow-soft ricotta ravioli, and a few stand out desserts such as olive oil cake or tahini ice-cream sandwich. The menu changes weekly apparently, which is a sure-fire way to keep the crowds coming back. With a $55 set menu, it’s some of the best value going around. Highly recommend.
I dined here on a Sunday for brunch with a friend. The place was very busy so we waited about 30 minutes for a table but we didn’t mind. Once inside, we were seated along the bar where you could watch the food being prepared. I had my usual soy hot chocolate and the hash browns with two poached eggs, asparagus and a green chimmichurri style sauce. I really enjoyed the hash browns, they were crispy on the outside with a soft, flaky inside. The poached eggs were perfect with runny centres and served as a great complement to the green sauce on the bottom of the plate. I usually don’t eat asparagus but it will lightly grilled and mixed in very well with all the other flavours on the plate so I completely demolished it. I would definitely give this place a try if you’re in the area however don’t be deterred by the wait time for a table. Oh and ps, they make some delightful doughnuts!!!
This review is for the night menu.Pastas are the standout, they do rotate from week to week but arent really too different. Antipasto and dessert all tasty but pastas better.Worth a trip into the inner west to try at least once.
