Terrible. Had a steak sandwich – untoasted turkish bread was so stale it was impossible to bite through. UFC blasting through the inside of the pub, horse racing blaring in the outdoor area. Very unpleasant. Never again.
Renovation new bistro 2013. So im going to be blunt about this , why would i go to a pub for asian/vietnamese food when marrickville host some of the best asian/vietnamese menus in the area. i have also been in there on verious times asking for hot chips and they do not cook hot chips and western foods /pub grub between certain times..menu is very boring for asian/vietnamese i will not be dining there again really who wants a pho soup with a schooner , also pub is no longer faimly friendly for dinning sports/tab/pokies are promoted well through out the hotel ..shame as the bistro was great when the kiwi girls were running it ..does not like
Basic pub food that’s overpriced. Nothing special although they did try to modernise the place with awful 70s retro look.
