Another inter-state trip and another breakfast at Sydney airport. My boarding gate was 14 so I chose Bar Roma which was the closest cafe. Instead of the usual coffee, I ordered a hot chocolate with a toasted ham and cheese perugini. Surprisingly both exceeded my expectation, not that they were very high. It was heated through well and flakey. Someone took my hot chocolate by mistake and once I reminded the staff they rectified immediately. thernbdiary.com

I feel like I’ve been robbed! I purchased a medium hot chocolate with almond milk and was charged $7.20! Never in my life have I paid that much for a hot drink – even a large with specialty milk! It wasn’t even the best hot chocolate I’ve ever had! Total rip off.
Your ‘large’ iced mochas are an absolute joke. Paying $7.95 for an iced mocha the size of a baby chino is a disgusting portrayal of breaking a consumer’s trust. I would never shop here again.-Mocha Lover
Here is the French toast I half ate for $18. And a bland cappuccino for about $4.50. Dont come here. Just go to pieface right down the hall instead.
Terrible service. Small coffee was advertised at $4.40. When I asked for a small coffee to take away they wanted to charge me $5 but said the take away cups were medium and it would cost me $5.00. I said I only had $4.60 in change so could they just serve a small coffee in the medium cup. No, that was not possible they said. Now I know it is possible. If I had asked for a medium coffee in a small cup then they may have had a point. After some discussion I decided to go elsewhere for a coffee – Krispy Kream a few metres away, small coffee just $3.60. Bar Roma lost a sale because of a dumb policy and staff not allowed or able to use common sense. Bar Roma CEO should go on Under Cover Boss.
With only two places to get a beer in T3, this place is the pits.It’s extremely loud, extremely expensive and extremely poor. It’s what people are forced to expect.
