My parents were in town over night as they are off to Hawaii. They decided to stay at the airport Rydges. I tried to get out of having dinner at the restaurant hotel but it wasn’t successful. I had seen that many of the dishes were cooked in duck fat. The service was good and the food was basic modern oz. I had salmon and shrimp pasta. It was good. The over dishes were described as good. It was exactly what I had anticipated from a hotel restaurant. L
We had very quick service the night we went. The steak was perfectly cooked and came with chunky cut chips and the sticky date pudding was lovely. All in all we had a great experience here and would go here again. Especially when traveling.
Expensive meal after long wait. Nice, unexpected and classy setting just metres away from the airport. Was really looking forward to my steak meal but a ridiculously long wait did not impress me, nor did the price. Steak was okay but hard to cut.
