Love the coffee, menu and service. The park is great for the kids to play. Can’t wait for the liquor license which is apparently coming soon

Lovely cafe in mascot. Its beneath an apartment block and close to the station. Its was a seriously hot day so I got the passion fruit earl Grey iced tea which was a lovely flavour! I was after a healthy lunch so ordered a healthy bowl with kale, sweet potato, corn, yogurt and chicken – I chose the poached chicken. I loved this and would certainly recommend it. They also have an interesting roti dish that Im keen to try. It was pretty quiet so I was served very fast and the staff were lovely too. aroundtheclockfoodie.com

Bourke & Hare is a sleepy neighbourhood local in a quiet corner of Mascot central. Adjacent to the park on Church Ave, it’s great for kids with plenty of outdoor seating overlooking the grounds. That said, it can be less than peaceful come weekends. The food here is simple and no fuss, and fairly light on if you find the overly decadent cafes all a little too rich at times. Whilst the milk based coffee blend is often pretty mild, they do a some great filter / batch brew coffee often on rotation. If you’re not a filter fan I recommend sampling it here as it may well change you’re usual go-to. crumbs-au.com

(Late post) been here twice as it is a walking distance to home.. but they didnt disappoint in both occasions. My girlfriend is crazy about the maple butter served with banana bread.. but my recommendation is the roti benedict, like omg its so yummy.. coffee there is nice too. For me this cafe is a hidden gem.. hopefully they continue to keep the standard and bring up more delicious food

Excellent coffee and tea, friendly staff and vibrant atmosphere. The food is always excellent – the roti benedict with the panko crumbed poached eggs and sriracha hollondaise is incredible.

The coffee here is consistently excellent. They offer an all day breakfast which offer the usual suspects done well plus a few other interesting ones. The fried chicken is probably one of their real standouts. All in all it’s well priced, fast service and a great place for a casual meal.

They are doing great things with the menu, ingredients are always fresh and they’re doing great things with the menu. The best coffee in the area, and probably in Sydney. Great staff, cool music and a funky vibe.
