3.5/5Wanted dumplings after climbing at st peters, so we came here to try out this place.Everyone ordered a spicy looking chicken dish, maybe its their signature, however we are focus on what we want.We ordered a numbing chicken and cold potato noodles for entrees and pan fried pork dumplings and wontons in spicy soup for mains. The numbing chicken is a bit weird, my mouth and tongue was so numb water tasted sour. Next came the pan fried dumplings and wontons. They are both juicy and delicious. Slightly oily.Last came the cold potato noodles (the entree!), it is delicious, cooked to chewy perfection and spicy. But it was weird it came out last.Service is minimal but prompt, the ladies love being on their phones. All portions are huge, even the entrees. We quite like the place, might come again.
Tried Cangs last night for some traditional Northern Chinese. Ordered pan fried pork and chive dumplings, stir fried lamb with cumin and the specialty braised pork belly. Meals came out quickly and were large serves. Expect the dumplings to take longer to come out. Cangs also makes their own noodles, a lot of people were having the noodles so its a must try. Ill have to go back and try them myself. Service is friendly and it is also BYO!
We were here for a short stay at friends house, and were amazed by the authenticity of the northeastern Chinese food at this restaurant! Never had expected of this in Sydney.
We live nearby and it’s delicious. Our staple is the mixed mushroom dry pot and deep dried chicken with chillies. If you like that sichuan spicy numbness.. Then try it. It’s delicious. The service can be hit and miss but they’re still mostly friendly and nice!
Food 2: delicious!!! Their traditional noodle is a must order! It’s so good I just kept eating! Al dente that is ! Chewy like pasta will definitely go back!Service & decor 2.5: Friendly & fast service , BYO
