Absolutely beautiful Greek biscuits with an assortment of I can not decide… And we love the Mango and Coconut Cake, I mean it’s our go to cake.. This cake shop is much bigger then it seemed from the outside and has a huge selection of individual cakes, Greek style cookies which are so good, baklava & larger sized celebration cakes. Coffees are good & service is efficient. Greek cookies are great with coffee as is the baklava. There is also a selection of savoury pies and sausage rolls. Will definitely try one of the whole cakes for a celebration next time.

Bought the smalles version of Salted Caramel for $43 this afternoon. Taste great. And not forget to mention about their warm service. The girl was patiently explaining to me about the cakes. Will be back again to try the eclairs

The treats at Christopher’s Cake Shop may not be as refined as La Renaissance or as creative as Zumbo but the array of Greek goodies on display still makes my knees buckle. I can never go past their baklava; sticky, sweet and oh-so-moreish, perfect with a cup of strong black tea. I’ve also had the Duchess cake which was a rich, chocolate cake made even more dense with the inclusion of biscuit pieces. It’s good for large groups as a little slice of this goes a long way.

This place is a big store selling heaps of cakes, greek treats and biscuits etc. There are also huge fridges with heaps of massively decadent layered cakes if you like cheesecake, ricotta cake, tirasmisu. The store is big, and plenty of room to sit in and eat. We got a coffee each; a macchiato and espresso which were food. A little bitter, but alright. We also had baklava, somepetit fours. A good placeif you need snacks for a party of tea and cake. aroundtheclockfoodie.com

  • Those Who Love To Eat

Christopher’s located on the busy street of Botany Rd, stashes enough sweeties to make your blood sugar levels jump through the roof, but it may just be all worth it. Enter the devil’s lair of the forbidden desserts, through the glass door that automatically opens the minute it detects a human soul. Walk down the narrow corridor, where every cock of the head tempts you with sweet delights, kept at bay by glass panels and white neon lights to give the biscuits, baklava, tarts and everything in between that glossy sheen. A coffee machine and an ordering bay to put in your request for what takes your fancy. Nothing like dessert and cake I say. On your right hand side, near the cash register, in the fridge, there are cakes you can order and take home for a birthday or some form of celebration. When in this neck of the wood, I would generally take it away. This time was no different. I ordered a slice of coconut delight wrapped in filo pastry and soaked in honey and sugar syrup, which was crunchy on the outside and moist in the middle. The baklava, which I never got the chance to photograph because it got eaten before I got the chance by another human being, was crunchy, nutty, sweet and oil. But I manage to get a taste. This place is great if you’re having a party and just couldn’t be bothered to make them yourself, this place is ideal or you are, simply a massive sweet tooth.
