The counter staff’s rudeness is way above normal level. It seems like the customers are giving them troubles. Seems the same has been going on for years after looking into other reviews. The menu is very misleading. The “let’s do a noodle box” is $17.8 with two choices of meat, so I followed exactly the steps with my choices already in mind trying not to make the staff even grumpier. I chose the ingredients and the food was sent directly to kitchen to cook. I ordered two noodles. Then when I went to cashier to pay the bill and I was a bit shocked to see two noodles added up to $41+. I asked the staff. Only then I was told that at $17.8 only beef and chicken are the choice! For each ingredient I chose I was added $2 each item just because it’s not beef and chicken. But seeing that my food had been sent to the kitchen already, I accepted it but remarked that the menu was not clear. The staff then bounced back “that’s what I told you”. But she didn’t ever tell me anything close to “beef and chicken are the only choice”. Food was nice though coz it’s freshly cooked.Feel having paid too much to buy myself some bad attitude. I’ll probably have Macca next time at the terminal. I don’t usually write reviews like the other reviewers who took the effort to write something to warn other future customers.
In transit and I was a while since my last meal. I’d prefer noodles over fast takeaway food so gave this a go. Options were plentiful and as the food is made for you, knew it was fresh. Orders a crispy chicken laksa. Taste wasn’t too bad. Chicken was a whole piece in amongst the noodles and soup. That makes it hard to eat especially with plastic cutlery. Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Was looking for some piping hot and spicy soup for supper before flying and so got a roast pork and dumpling laksa. It was quick and the taste was good. More importantly, if you are looking for something like this, this is your only option in this particular area of Sydney airport. So, just walk in.
I am the least fussy person when it comes to food, however this was the most disgusting food I have had. Food was boiled and tasted like it had been sitting there and reheated for days. Way too expensive for the amount of food they provided. Was such a horrible experience. Mongolian beef was so over cooked that I physically couldn’t eat it. to the owners of this franchise, please inject some quality into this store. If I could give it a 0 I would.
