I was looking for a healthier/tastier option than the fast food places. There were not a lot of choices in the Qantas departure are. Wok On Air looked ok. Ordered the Sang Choi Bow . The lettuce was crispy. Nothing else positive to say. The filling was friendly mince with peas and diced carrot…..not at all pleasant.

I had a few hours layover in Sydney and was going to get back to Melbourne way too late for dinner so decided to grab something at the airport. The food was quite reasonable considering it’s airport food. Yes the prices might be a bit pricey but that’s to be expected. Freshly cooked – flavours were good. Couldn’t complain.

Surprisingly good for airport eats. The prawn dumplings were as good as you’d find at yum Cha and the San Choy Bao were packed full of flavour, although drowning in liquid making the lettuce soggy and impossible to pick up. They were very messy to eat but very tasty. The special ice tea was also delicious. Service was quick. Not the cheapest food but hey, it’s the airport.

Wok on Air was the most appealing of the (limited) food choices available in Sydney’s domestic terminal and so we headed in for a spot of dinner before our flight. Although the ready-made on display stuff (dumplings, sushi, salad) were a bit depleted that time of the evening, there are many cooked-to-order dishes on offer – noodles, rice-based dishes and curries and stir fries served with generous amounts of steamed rice. The food is made quite quickly, which is perfect for the airport environment, yet doesn’t sacrifice taste. Prices are high – but that is to be expected at the airport. Would highly recommend Wok on Air for what it is!

Very flavoursome meegoreng at T3 of domestic airport. Service was very quick and the quantity was good. As with all food places in the airport it was a bit costly

Pretty decent Asian food when you’re not feeling the fast food that is on offer in the rest of the food court in the Qantas terminal. I’ve always found wonton soup to be a fail safe at any place because even if it isn’t the best, there’s always condiments. Most things are made to order so they tend to take a little longer than it’s neighbors when they’re serving you up a pre flight lunch or dinner. I add some sky sauce to my broth and dip the dumplings and vegetables in chilli sauce to add an extra punch. The soups hot, comforting and filling enough to keep you satiated for your domestic flight or ride home. A little pricey for wonton soup, going at $15 a bowl but that’s airport prices for you. Definitely would recommend eating here if you’re not keen on oily or pre made options. eatventures.net

Pretty good Asian food for airport fare. Quick and clean with friendly staff. Lots of variety of noodles and dumplings. Good place to sit and wait for the plane!
