Figtree Churrasco is my favourite Churassco restaurant! Located in the Gateway Inn, you would have never guessed such a gem exists. I came here last year and had been thinking how great the meal was so I had to come back. I would recommend getting the Churrasco menu. For $69 per person, you will get a selection of entrees, sides, several cuts of meat off and dessert. Below are some of the entrees including bread with hummus, rice arancini ball and bread with a tomato sauce.
A beautiful and Delightful eating experience. The food is mouth-wateringly delicious; you experience a small taste of spiced and flavoured meats delivered to your table on giant swordlike Skewers and a tapas selection through 5-9 courses. The staff are extremely accommodating; a look to your personal steward/waitress will bring them over immidiatly. Pricewise; The charasco 5-9 courses is worth the food quality, taste, preparation and service. The drinks are on the high end of the price scale; the cheapest glass of wine being $10 whilst the most expensive bottle of champagne is $350.A beautiful ambiance with far reaching views to the beach; cosy and elegant, an overall wonderful experience.Word of advice.. Don’t fill up on the bread and potatoes or you won’t make it to the end.
This may come across as spam but in response to the February review. The floor staff are never rude and if you can’t get what you want because your group doesn’t meet the requirements to secure a private room then don’t complain because it is your choice to bring your 5 kids to a fine dinning restaurant. Also, a private room requires an additional staff member to look after a room and if you don’t have a large enough group you will be allocated to the restaurant floor. Do not write off employees as being the rude ones when you aren’t accepting of the venues terms.
My Irish friend highly recommended this restaurant.  For $79, you can go crazy for the full Churrasco experience. A nice bottle of Argentinian wine to accompany the meat is a must.  It’s a slightly dearer Brazilian experience but something you must try if you are in the area. Beginner Tapas -Crumbed Feta with Blueberry, Mushroom, Sea Chowder sample or Cous Cous alternative To start you off; try a few of the tapas to activate your taste buds. The crumbed feta was tasty with blueberry compote. The mushroom was slightly dry. The cous cous was tasty. (all pictured above). Try not to load up on the bread but the tomato, goats cheese dip was pretty tasty.  Trust me though. Do not eat too much of this. You will need the stomach space. Tomato and Goats Cheese with Bread (it’s a tough spicey) Grilled Haloumi The haloumi was slightly dry and plastic like to be honest. OMG potatos with a side salad. Sauces include apple cinnamon dip, BBQ sauce and fig jam sauce So instead, I tried to overcome my
Food has gone downhill. I can get better meals at a pub but I’m paying a la carte prices. Staff were rude when we asked for the private dining room saying we had to spend a minimum amount on food if we want the room. We had a large family get together so this was our only option (unless they wanted 5 kids running through the restaurant disturbing other patrons). That was our 3rd and LAST visit
