A tiny place with lot of affordable and tasty variety of food ranging from sushi rolls to deep fried fish cakes. We ordered fried calamari and beef Bibimbab. Both were fresh and tasted pretty good. It’s not mind blowing but you get a smile while served and fresh hot food all under 15 dollars. For me a meal is complete only when a genuine smile comes along with the package and here I walked out with a smile too.
I am a local so I know the staff very well. There specialties are mostly sushi rolls and they all so have other verities of Japanese cuisine. But even though they are run by Koreans the food they sell is average. They sell udons, donburies and ect. I rate this place 4.5/5 sushi rolls.
Midori sushi is a great place. Offering a variety of sushies and not just sushies but also a selection of Japanese cuisine. The sushies were very scrumptious and they also sell Donburies, Udon and Bentos. Over all the service is nice and the staff is friendly. I rate it 4.5/5 sushies.
Midori Sushi sits inside the dinky little Shepherd’s Bay Village Plaza in Meadowbank and as you might have guessed from photos is a modest little shop run by a humble, sweet Korean family. More specifically a mum and her teenage daughter. Since I live nearby I drop in every now and again for a bowl of udon noodles, sushi rolls or some deep fried fishcake. Midori’s food isn’t anything mind-blowing but it’s definitely homely, modest food made with a little love and served to you with a smile.
Offer a range of sushi, ramen, udon, platters etcThey offer quick takeaway such as hand rolls, pre organised sets Sashimi isn’t what you would get at a A grade Jap restaurant but it is fresh
Located in the Meadowbank Plaza area. They have ready made sushi as well as made to order items such as Bento box’s, Don, Udon and sashimi bowls. Cheap prices compared to some other sushi places. Good for that quick lunch or quick dinner. Friendly staff too.
