Very much like their counterpart in Sutherland, the food here is bland and lacks the authenticity, vibrance and freshness of Vietnamese food. All dishes ordered could have been made at a cheap Aussie style takeaway Chinese restaurant. Service was good. Cannot understand why this place fills up with patrons. If you want to experience truer Vietnamese cuisine, go to Bankstown or Cabramatta. I will not be returning to Moonlight Vietnamese.
We dropped in here having no idea of what to expect. It was 6.10pm and the restaurant was empty. Not sure if we had hit a dud we gave it a try and were very pleased that we did. The food was simple, fresh and tasty. The bill was amazingly small $60 for two (three courses) and the restaurant soon filled to full.All in all great little drop-in – worth a visit.
