Nice setting, however the menu needs to be simplified to offer a smaller selection of fresh foods, ie salads, toasties, soup and maybe one hot dish (special of the day), too many options available to cater for too few customers means that you are forced to sell frozen products or risk having to throw it out if no one orders the product if it is fresh sourced (ie fish/prawns)
Below average. Went here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon..was easy to get a table,and after eating here it was clear why!!Tandoori chicken salad with frozen chicken..Burger with cheap tasting bread.Wine was old..Really overpriced and I advice to avoid!!
Dissappointing. Took Mum for lunch and was very disappointed. Service was pleasant enough and water was brought to our table but we waited close to 30 minutes for our food . They did have quite a few diners for a mid week lunch . Both meals were served with undercooked soggy chips and salad which had no discernible dressing. The quiche and coconut prawns were basically uninspiring. We agreed it might be a nice place for a cup of coffee but we wouldn’t be going back for lunch.
Overpriced and nothing special. Service is slow and food is average at best and very overpriced. Pretty setting and that’s about it.
Delicious. The Service is fantastic, the view beautiful, the food disgustingly good. A place to relax and enjoy your meal. Very peaceful and reasonably priced.

Wouldn’t go back if you paid me. Appalling service, bad food, very rude staff (i.e. the owners). When meals were taken back because the food was inedible the staff were VERY rude, making judgemental comments about the eating habits of PAYING CUSTOMERS! I feel sorry for people that go here on coach trips and get ripped off with poor food and bad service. Having to pay for a meal that can’t be eaten is poor form. Shame, shame, shame. When you go out of business, Geranium Cottage, perhaps you might reflect on your customer service….which at the moment is appalling. The customer is what keeps YOU in business. Think about it.
