First up, Henry Deane has truly magnificent views overlooking Sydney Harbour. During the day its stunning, and at night you see the beautifully illuminated Sydney skyline.Service I found to be really friendly, though when seated it did take a bit of time for the staff to reach us to hear either the order, or bring us the bill.We ordered the Brussel Sprouts (considering there were only 3 vegetarian options) which were absolutely delicious.. The sprouts were tasty and crispy, covered in a sweet, tangy and lightly spicy sauce.I ordered a cocktail and told them I just wanted a nice palate cleanser before dinner – I don’t even know what I got but it was absolutely delicious.I definitely want to come back for a girls day out during the summertime to try out more of the cocktails and wonderful looking food. theminiaturelife.com
The View. Of course this is how so many great Sydney restaurants define themselves. So sure, stars for the view and the gorgeous fit out in the old run down pub, which we found accidentally whilst wandering away from The Rocks. It feels just a bit too pretentious. The wine list is ok, and the food offerings were minimal. We followed the raving bartender and tried the tuna with pickled watermelon and yes, it was lovely. As were the scallops, $5.50 each. Its a great fancy drink before dinner place.
