I was really keen to try Kitchens on Kent and it didn’t disappoint. Such beautiful fresh food, especially the seafood. I wish I just had a bigger stomach to try everything. The highlight for me was definitely the dessert station. So many sweets, so little time! #kitchensonkent
Did somebody say smorgasbord? This is that and more. They actually have a range of “kitchens” around the venue manned by chefs who prepare made-to-order dishes as well as some house suggestions. What’s not to like about that! There was of course seafood – and plenty of it. One area had crab, prawns, oysters and mussels. Nearby there was freshly prepared sashimi – and you can actually watch it being delicately sliced and displayed. Let’s not forget the smoked salmon too. There was a tray of that across the aisle (in the cured meats area) all nicely rolled up in individual pieces.
