Food here is really good, really fresh and tasty.I brought the score down due to the fairly high price combined with absolute inflexibility.I asked if I could swap out one thing in a bento box due to allergy (ie. not just because I felt like it) and they refused point blank. They were not busy at the time and it was not the main feature of the box, they just have a zero changes policy. That means I can either buy things I can’t eat, or cut their menu down to about 1/5 dishes.If it was a budget place or a flat-out service I’d understand; but with the high price, a simple substitution during a quiet lunch service should be fine. If you disagree with that expectation (or simply have no allergies, lucky you) then you’ll probably give Tago-an a higher score.
