Delicious food cooked from fresh seafood! The staff are very friendly too..they also provide picnic rug if we want to have picnic under the bridge.. definitely will come back!
Had the grilled seafood basket and whilst very fresh it was a bit underdone, which made it chewy. Salad was crisp and plentiful. Great location for take away and sitting in the prl by the harbour.
I really only go here for the chips and a walk along the harbour! It’s the epitome of a small fish and chips shop – fresh, fast, delicious, and reasonably priced. People are lovely and it’s just a great atmosphere. A nice break away from the fancy restaurants nearby.
Got drink order incorrect. All I can say about the fish, aside from being over cooked, is that the entire meal was a BUCKET OF GREASE. The cooks apparently did not let any of the grease drain. Not good at all.
Great service and a good selection of fish, however my fish in a takeaway fish and chips meal wasn’t as fresh as it should have been, so had lost a lot of flavour. The chips were nicely cooked and the chance to eat these with the opera house and bridge view at sunset is not something to pass up!
These people know how to cook seafood, whether you want it battered or grilled.Importantly, the batter is light and fluff tempura style, no the doughy rubbish you get in most cross cook venues.These guys and woman are specialists and are really friendly to boot.Their Seafood Basket is $16 and this includes a drink, with fish, calamari, prawns and chips, I reckon great value.I’m taking their prepared prawn skewers to my Dad’s 93rd birthday tomorrow, we will throw them on the barbie for an entre they are always a big hit!.
