A great bavarian restaurant in Mona Vale. The staff are always welcoming and provide a wonderful experience. Serving sizes are substantial and definitely hit all sides. A must go with friends and family for a great experience while enjoying a stein or two. Every night they have weekly specials and on Wednesdays is All You Cab Eat Ribs.
We came here with a voucher to spend $80 on anything. We had 2 entrees, 2 mains in mixed sausages and the pork belly, as well as a mango beer. The entrees were both cooked quite nicely. Mains were kinda average but not too bad. The mango beer was quite nice. Not too sweet or bitter. The night was relatively busy. However, the service in bringing the food out was quite slow and it did take a while unfortunately.

We decided to order the meat platter for 2 and was quite overwhelmed with the amount of meat we received. There were 3 of us and we were unable to finish the platter. (maybe we don’t eat much to begin with?). The platter came with a variety of sausages, veal and chicken schnitzel, hot chips, mushroom @sauce, red cabbage, sauerkrautand, ham and beautifully cooked crispy skin pork belly. I personally enjoyed the pork belly the most as the meat was well cooked. Not tough and chewy. The amount of crunch on the skin was absolutely perfect! I didn’t enjoy the veal as it was overcooked and unfortunately very tough to eat. The rest of the meat was rather mediocre, but a good feast nonetheless. We also ordered the apple strudel for dessert. This came out warm and overall delicious.
