Out of all the nice Thai places out on the streets of mortdale, my work decided this place upstairs hidden away. I mostly ever get massaman beef at Thai places. They failed it miserably. Now work wasn’t paying for the meals, it was a farewell get together. I felt like it was a waste of money.
The restaurant had a nice atmosphere, staff were friendly and menu reasonably priced. Food arrived at a reasonable time and tasted good. The red and green curry vegetarian dishes we ordered had a decent variety of vegetables and NOT overloaded with tofu or bean sprout!! It was quite delicious too and served with chili on the side to add some heat if you wanted. The coconut ice cream was unique, made by the chef and enjoyed by all. Will go again.

Nice little thai place hidden in mortdale… not penshurst…You’ll will be warmly greeted upon entrance, i very rarely get the guy who is cooking my dinner come out to say welcome! Its really something. Very polite and top service. Mixed entree is always a favourite, for $6 bucks a pop we recommend you to give it a go. We orderer vegetarian chilli jam stir fry, great variety of veggies as always, although there wasnt a lot of flavour and the string bean was quite tough. We werent too impressed but it wasnt awful either.Yellow seafood curry was yummy,battered barra, generous amount of prawns, calamari and squid. Oh and i love how theres a lot of small figs everywhere! The only thing i disliked about this dish was the lemongrass… it tasted funny with the dish… in fact im just not a lemongrass fan. This is my partners favourite thai place in mortdale, i personally feel the flavours can be a bit of a hit and miss, but service is great and you get a real decent portion size. None of that 1 prawn b/s. So i really appreciate that. My partner will return, but im still on the hunt. But we both settled on 3/5. theweekendfoodieeats.blogspot.com
