Totally misled by the reviews for this place. We went yesterday and got a mix of things, all battered. We love the crunchiness. But sadly what we got was all soggy. The potato scallop was so crap. Not even sure how it was even considered as a scallop. I’m annoyed I didn’t take any photos. It was so hot yesterday and there was no aircon- which is fine but the food was pretty sad. NOW I saw on the menu a bacon and egg roll which they can do on a brioche bread. Thought hmm let’s come back in the morning to see if this place can be redeemed and I can write something positive. BUT no, instead when we walked in and I looked at the board I was asked rudely can I help you? I’m like oh would like to order something. She quickly was dismissive and said we’re not open. The door are open because it’s hot… meanwhile the whole shop was set up ready for business, the lights were on and gelato freezer outside. Nothing was slightly an indicator it was meant to be closed. Most places have some sort of que that you could tell by. So my partner was also annoyed by the experience and he’s like we’ll never go to this place again. No crap about it was a bad day or something. 2 days in a row is enough evidence for us it’s crap. It’s blacklisted for us. We found this place because the Indian place next door is great! FYI ever feel like Indian should try it out!!

Love this place! Great food and great service. The staff are very lovely. Been here many times to get my veggie burger meal from here and they have definitely not disappointed me once. Many choices to choose from they also have a variety of yummy salads to choose from to go with your meal or have on its own. Place is very chilled and there is plenty of seating down at the back. I would definitely recommend to try coming here then going to any of the other fish and chip shops on the street.
