Came for a quick dinner on a Wednesday night and waited over an hour for a chicken schnitzel. Worst service – no one told us there was going to be such a long wait when we ordered and the wait staff were rude when we asked if they forgot about our order. Not impressed!!!
Palace Hotel is an awesome place to go with your family and friends for some nice drinks and food. I guess the food is not that cheap as the steaks were around $25-$30, but it was quite delicious. As well, the ambiance was quite good.
Great pub for dinner. The food is brilliant and well priced. It does get noisy in the dining room, so maybe avoid peak dining time. It’s got plenty of old pub character and a nice outdoor area out the back for warmer weather. They have a range of smoked meats on the menu which are great but they sell out quickly on the night.
This is my favourite and only local pub! I love coming here anytime of the day. Regardless the ambience is always great, whether you sit inside the premises or out in the courtyard. They have a good variety of meals and daily specials. The portions are very generous for the price you pay and delicious. Also has a good range of wines and beers which I love to complement my meal.The staff here are always so friendly.
