The cuisine is nicely varied between Spanish tapas and traditional Morrocan such as succulently cooked lamb in tagine. The location is great of course for a romantic night out near the Spit Bridge. But the thing which tops the experience is without doubt the hospitality of the staff who immediately make you feel at home from start and keeping you entertained. Service is polite and attentive without being intrusive. Overall, food wise and service, it was an outstanding experience. Highly recommended.
This place is, in a word, phenomenal. My husband and I selected it for our anniversary dinner because it was near where we were married, had beautiful water views, and the menu looked appealing. It didn’t disappoint. The number one thing about this place was the SERVICE. The owner’s hospitality and the courtesy of the waitstaff are simply unparalleled by literally ANY other restaurant I’ve been to in Sydney. Their friendly, happy attitudes are infectious – the whole place had the most incredibly jovial atmosphere. Every table there was full of people smiling! The ambience in general is beautiful. The food was solidly very good, approaching great. Our favourites were the scallops (me), the harissa prawns (a special – both of us loved it), the meatballs (husband) and the B’stilla (both). The orange blossom panna cotta was to DIE for. My husband doesn’t typically have a sweet tooth, and when I told him I was full and he could have the rest, the grin on his face as he pulled the dish towards him is one I have never seen him associate with a dessert previously, ha. We will be back and we’ll feel like we’re visiting new friends when we return!
