This is not Greek food in any way whatsoever!!Stale bread awful dips , chefs seem quite confused. The only dish that was edible would of been the baked lamb and even that was average.
Had the Zorba meat platter for 2 this evening. My initial complaint after it was served was that this platter for 2 looked very small. I was told that is what it is. It came with a small Greek salad to be shared.It didn’t look yummy at all. Unfortunately the taste was the same. A few chunks of meat pieces; chicken, lamb and beef you can hope. I have been to many restaurants in my life and this is one of the biggest food disaster experiences for me so far. At the checkout I complaint about my bad experience while paying the totally over-priced $69 for this platter, I was told that I could have returned it and ordered something else. Well my bad. The crown takes that my friend barely made it to his car. He got stomach cramps and diarrhea. Maybe unrelated, who knows. I feel unwell too and will see how the night pens out.This place never again for me.
Excellent choice! I have dinner for graduation ceremony,we sharing the mezzeplate, baked lamb, grill octopus and chicken with avocado. thesalad is fresh, food is verytasty. Enjoy the grill octopus most, and the cream on chicken is incredible. Good service, friendly staff.
Booked on the 2nd November for a party for 20 people on 10th December. This was confirmed via email. It was meant to be a SURPRISE birthday dinner. They phone today (28th November) to say there is no room as they now have a larger booking. This was APPARENTLY booked in October. But then why didn’t they tell me when i tried to book. Why did they confirm my booking???? Now I’m left with 20 guests and no venue for a 55th birthday dinner which is no longer a surprise as the phone call was overheard by the birthday girl. I’m very angry and disappointed. they have totally spoiled this occasion for us. WARNING: DON’T TRUST THEM!!! They will accept a bigger booking and throw you out when it suits them.
Excellent!!!!. We love this place. Every dish is very fresh and hot. Food is incredible, and very simply presented. Zoebas is a great place for a family night out, romantic for two, or i imagine to have a party. Service is very friendly and professional. The atmosphere is simple but comfortable. Unfortunately, we have never seen this restaurant full. I am concerned that enough people do not know of this place! They are fully licensed but also BYO.
Matt. Had dinner on Saturday night. Hidden gem, lived in Mosman 18yrs didn’t know it was there upstairs. I have not been able to eat calamari for years until now, amazing. I had the lamb kleftiko for main, very tasty and the lamb melted in my mouth. Beautiful restaurant and friendly staff. Recommended.
Horrid, overpriced food…. Snarky service !!!!. The first sign should have been that this place was empty. Chicken and lamb were dry, tasteless & grisly. The salad was mainly cheapie iceberg drenched in oil & not fresh. ‘Coke’ came already poured (hmmmm) in a glass full of ice, gone in 2 sips. $4 for that which seems petty to say, but it was an example of how they are scrimping on everything and it shows… We didn’t complain but were already feeling ripped off when we went to pay the bill. It was a total made up number!!!! Not itemised in an attempt to make us pay more for the horrid meal. Dodgy! When we politely questioned it we were snapped at. Never ever again
