This is the best Japanese restaurant anywhere in Sydney. The food is fantastic and the chef is so much fun. The prices are reasonable and it’s BYO. I have been there many times and with so many different people and we have always had a great time. I would highly recommend this to anyone.
Good for big groups and kid-friendly.. Agree with previous reviews, it’s a good place for large groups and also kid-friendly. Staff are attentive. In addition to the a-la carte options, there is a choice of 3 different set meals, priced at $28, $35 and $38 pp. For $35 pp, you get prawns (2 pieces), scallops (3 pieces), some beef and chicken, and the miscellaneous bowl of miso soup, salad and fried rice. I do think you pay for the ‘entertainment factor’ – I can see the other patrons having lots of fun and laughs at the chef table – but going as a couple and sitting on the side table (our choice), I did feel it was expensive.

The best!
It is a cosy place and is good to go there in a large group of people. The staff are polite and caring. The chef is really entertaining. Food quality and reasonable pricing.
