Overpriced for what it is. Since the Boathouse moved in, all venues around here are raising prices in line with them but not enough quality or quantity (including the Boathouse). Its a swell of bad choices on summer weekends that will see a few of these struggle over winter. Amazingly the cafe at Bathers is almost best value on Balmoral these days.
Asked the waitress if the meal I was ordering was mainly meat or salad and she replied with salad and I was happy with that, however when it came it was a few pieces of meat with a few vegetables as a salad. Definitely overpriced at $24. The food did taste good, however I couldnt even choose the meat I wanted as they were running low on meat just after 2pm.. I understand its a new place, however it would cost them $2 more to put a few more pieces on the plate and keep the customers happy to pay the price they did. Wont be returning, Im still hungry!!!
