Went for breakfast. Servings were large. Waitresses were polite and well presented. Restaurant was spacious and comfortable. Food was good quality. Gluten free bread was excellent – had to smell it to determine that it was gluten free as it tasted so good. Huge window display of cakes and breads.
Different but good. Purchased an Ouffer deal and booked in for a quick meal on Thursday night. Ambiance is a little strange though best efforts are made to make it seem less like a bakeryeatery and more like a restaurant. Meal sizes were substantial or perhaps felt more so after the sourdough baguette is delivered and eaten. The King prawns were interesting however there was no trace of the scallops, or salmon as it said on the menu and no explanation given for its absence, while I don’t want to say it was voucher discrimination, I only noticed this omission upon returning home. Try and slow roasted lamb as opposed to the angus beef if you’re a meat eater. The beef was average and more careful attention to trimming off of connective tissue surrounding the cut would have made for a more pleasant dining experience.
