Feel like being transported to a chic bar in an African game reserve? Then make your way to The Hunter Wine Bar in the heart of Mosman. Dine under the safari tent surrounded by hanging vines, lanterns and wooden beams. You almost expect Robert Redford to appear in a Safari suit! Was delighted by the variety of food options here as I assumed it would be just nibbles and bar food, but no…you can have a substantial meal. Chose the Gatherer Board to share ($30) which consisted of falafel, zucchini fritters, olives, haloumi, a range of dips and sourdough. Delicious! Followed this with a beetroot, fennel, orange, walnut and goats cheese salad ($16), the grilled beer battered Barramundi with chunky chips, garden salad and house made tartare sauce ($18). A totally enjoyable experience!
