On the way to Byron we took a spontaneous turn-off to Valla Beach in search of food. Headland cafè blew all of our expectations. The lasagne, Moroccan chicken and coffees were all so memorable we made an effort to stop there again on the way back to Sydney. Delightful staff too – can’t wait to return
Had dinner here. The lamb rump was excellent. Then had the ginger cake with marscapone, whisky sauce and basil and cucumber sorbet. I originally thought the sorbet was a weird addition but it was beautiful! The only draw back would be that the service was a bit slow. I’ve also had breakfast here a few times and I can recommend the ricotta pancakes and the corn fritters. Both are excellent dishes. Cheers
Hidden gem!!! Corn fritters are definitely worth a try here, crispy and delicious. The coffee is really good, strong and smooth exactly how I like it. Now the freeway has changed it’s a few minutes detour off the hwy but worth the extra time
Great little cafe off the Pacific Highway. If you’re a Sydney snob who likes good coffee beans and fresh, tasty and well presented food with care, you’ll love this place. Very friendly happy staff too. We’ll be back.
