I’ve never visited in person but order take-away from Siri’s regularly and have always found it to be of a really high standard and for a long time it was unrivaled in the local area. Authentic tasting curries – rice comes free with your order. We rarely think of ordering from anywhere else for Indian cuisine.
Top tasting curry. I took a punt on this place, had three or four (Indian eaterys) to chose from in the Narrabeen area and having returned to the homeland after 14 or so years, they were pretty non existence back then.I did a phone order for pick up and at first when I placed a order for three curry’s and rice and some bread and told it would be an hour, I was a bit hesitant to proceed, but glad I did.I had the Madras Chicken curry and I gotta say, it was one of the best tasting Indian curry’s I have found this side of New Delhi. My kids had butter chicken which they ate without fuss, so that is saying something and Mrs G reported her spicy chicken was tasty as well.When I am back in the area, I would certainly be visiting here again.
Amazing!. My partner insisted we eat at Sri’s after she enjoyed a meal there with friends. That was a while ago now and we’re both addicted now to the beautiful food and the friendly service we receive every time we go there, or pick up a Lamb Biryani on the way home from work. Sri’s make the best Biryani we’ve ever had but their vast array of other dishes are equally impressive! We can’t recommend this restaurant highly enough and we’re happy to say they never fail to impress. I’m not too sure they’ll last in their current location, though, given that it’s the bogan heartland of Sydney and an area where most people think culture comes in a small tub with yoghurt written on the label. One thing’s for sure, though….we’ll travel to experience their quality cuisine.
I ordered on menulog, apparently this means that you do not get the same accompaniments to your meal as when you order directly. Also free rice with a main meal as advertised on menu log website is not correct. After being treated in a very rude and condescending manner by staff when I questioned this, and charged $2.50 for small mint yoghurt sauce that normally comes with the tandoori chicken when you eat in. I then got home and realised that they had not included my poppadoms in the order.They should write a book called How to lose customers and upset people.
