I haven’t like this place in the past and yet found myself back here through circumstance. Ordered poached eggs and sausage which was presented like my grandma did when I was 7. That was a while ago..,, Picture uploaded for amusement. The lack of effort was remarkable. Service as per last visit and why I wasn’t going to return was better but still haphazard and frustrating. I got my coffee from Bay downstairs afterwards.
Gorgeous coffee.. For being tucked away at the back of an arcade I wasn’t sure how good the coffee would be here, but what an absolutely great surprise! Coffee was creamy, flavoursome and my soy was perfectly frothed.
Pros Friendly staff, reason…. ProsFriendly staff, reasonable size portions for cost.Cons.Poached eggs were hard boiled, hollandaise sauce was store brought and coffee was burnt.
Cigarette butts in the garden and overpriced food. We sat outside next to a garden full of cigarette butts and were told that it was because it was the smoking area, although there were no ashtrays, so no wonder the garden was full.We waited for half an hour before they realised they had misplaced our order and when the food came it was very underwhelming. The coffee was quite good but the toast was just one slice of untoasted bread, the amount of feta was so stingey, I couldn’t tell if it was there and the $4 side of bake beans amounted to approx. a tablespoon worth. This is the first time I have ever been compelled to provide a negative review for a cafe or restaurant. We would definitely recommend avoiding this overpriced cafe.
A gem: Craft coffee in a delightful setting. The trendy neighbourhood mini-mall seems an unlikely place for it, but Paradiso is the highest form of coffee art. And the baristas are unpretentious, sunny and friendly, too.Outside tables, even in this no-view, back of a mall setting, feel festive. This is a great little gem
Truly great coffee in a fairly average location. Have tried breakfast here a few times but wasn’t a massive fan, just stick to their coffees now. seekwhatyoueat.com
Hard to think of a title… Why are they compulsory?. Had an enjoyable chicken caesar open sandwich, helped by the fact that it was a beautiful day and they had a sunny verandah on which to enjoy to.The rest of the menu looked worth returning back for another go and the other half’s coffee was good.
