  Speed is not a concept understood by this cafe. I sat around for a good 30 minutes for just scrambled egg on toast. At the same time, my coffee was cold and almost finished, and they also managed to serve 10 cups of coffee for another table before I got my food. When hot the coffee was good. It wasn’t actually full and at late lunch. They really need to get their act together. Slow service is not a French thing, I’ve had better service there.

  Nestled in the side streets of Wickham; Bank Corner Espresso Bar is a trendy little cafe with really good coffee. The staff are friendly and efficient. Although in some situations, efficiency isn’t always a positive thing. I watched a female staff member collect the empty plates from a table and when she came back into the kitchen she took the baby spinach that was left over from a diner’s plate and put it back in the bag of salad. I feel strongly about not wasting food but at a restaurant, that’s just unhygienic. In that case, I will only be returning here for coffees in the future.

  Wonderful experience. Went for dinner here on a Friday night recently after always enjoying the breakfast.The food and service was second to none. Already planning my next trip.
