Consistently good coffee, service and food. Simple and limited menu but that means it’s always quick too. One of few places in Newcastle that you can manage to get a seat in the sun which is nice this time of year.
Stopped here for breakfast after the place looked very interesting. It was also quite busy which swayed the decision. The food was pretty average in my opinion although I can see why’d it appeal to some. The service was very slow and the drinks were brought out were wrong after a 10 minute wait. After that the experience was ruined and couldn’t recommend it.
Sticky tables, so much that my cup of rather hot coffee could not slide without considerable resistance. This was on the window tables. Food is costly. Free wifi is a plus, but I wished that the food was much better. Edit: 5 minutes after initial review, I found a piece of stone in my dish. For 19 dollars, that’s very poor form.
