  We came here Saturday night and were refused entry on the alleged basis that they were busy. We were well dressed, not drunk and came after an engagement party. There were very few people sitting down and two wait staff doing nothing. We said we would be happy to wait and be patient with drinks coming out but the lady very untactfully said no. We suspect it was racial. There were a couple of people of Asian background with us. It may be either some subtle racism or the staff were just too lazy to serve us. Or both could be true. Disgraceful service and treatment of potential customers. Dont go here.

  Great Flavours in Everyt Dish and Great Value. This is one of Newcastle’s best kept, best value dining experiences. Every dish was delightful, creative and a pleasant surprise. The wines were good and the service efficient, smart and friendly. At $109 for two entrees, two mains, a shared dessert and a bottle of good wine, this place leaves many of Newcastle”s other more established restaurants for dead.

  Best Restaurant Ever. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was mesmerising, and the service was by far the most welcoming and warming I’ve ever encountered. My only regret was not telling the staff this upfront. I was really surprised how quiet the place was despite how great it was. I’ll definitely come back again.

  Delicious. Tapas food – amazing flavours! Cocktails are very tasty too. Not cheap but worth it
