Cool vibes to this place, staff are friendly and it is a refreshing food spot in Newy. Carnivorous friends thoroughly enjoy the burgers but the veggie one can definitely be improved on. Patty is super dry and Salad on the burger is bland and boring. Would recommend they up their plant based burger game!
They told me to sit down if I was eating in and I sat at the table for ages because I missed the bit where they told me to come back to the counter when I was ready – there’s a menu above the counter so this seemed rather pointless. The burger patty was a bit dense and dry, like McDonald’s or other mass-produced frozen patties, and the bun, pickles, salad and sauce were all redolent of McDonald’s. A step up for sure and the burger may not have been thick but did cover a sizeable surface area, however, it still seems poor for the price.

If you feel in the mood for more greasy burger, their Pasha Bulker sure can satisfy your craving.Overall good burger although its a bit burnt than any usual burger place I frequent, but combo of Nutella shake, salt and pepper wings and dirty fries sure satisfies.Food : 3.5 – all our orders were a bit burnt and dryAmbience : 4 – very spaciousService : 3.5 – lots of flies
Bianca: And here we are, the culmination of banter with the guys over a span of a year. I finally made my way to Newcastle specifically for the burgers at Newy Burger Co. A girly weekend away with Felicity in the Blue Mountains was redirected to Newcastle and the rest is now history. Newy was our last stop in our 2 day tour de force eating spree. We rocked up to the Cambridge Hotel, which Newy have been operating out of for more than a year now. It’s a little on the dingy side but we ate outside, so ambience was really whatever we made it and we loved the artwork by Newcastle local Mitch Revs.
