Friendly and accommodating staff. Beautiful views of the ocean/harbour and also dog friendly (outside tables). Extensive menu full of fresh seafood and a few vegan options too which was great for me. I recommend the falafel and beetroot hummus dish.

My husband I had lunch at this restaurant for the first time on Saturday afternoon. Great location, delicious food, but service was very average. It took the waitresses a while to come to our table to take our orders. We finally ordered food and two glasses of wine. We received the food well before the drinks and were half way through our meals until we got two glasses of wine! It was clear that they were severely understaffed for the day and seemed to be very scattered in general. However, as said before, the food was quite good. We ordered the salt and pepper squid and seafood pasta – very very tasty!

Really good place to come. Sitting beside the water and looking at the view of the light house, the location of the restaurant is perfect to enjoy the dinner. The crispy duck salad is highly recommended. Must try!

I have no problem paying for good food but when you want to charge $31 for “homemade” Gnocchi that was clearly from a packet that you can buy at any grocery retailer that’s just taking the piss.

The staff here are so friendly. It was our 1st time out with our puppy in tow and they were so accommodating of her, even bringing her out some water. We had breakfast and it was delicious, easily the best poached eggs in newcastle. Would 100% recommend.
