Surprising modern restaurant above an old style pub. We enjoyed all our dishes – corn chowder for her and scallops for me, both very good. The spatchcock for her and lamb for me were delicious a made with first class ingredients. No need for sides (and there are none) as these were complete meals. Our deconstructed parfait was a great end. A good selection of wines by the glass. All in all great value with entree $17, mains $32 and deserts $14 meaning this was cheaper than other restaurants of similar quality in the area

Wow! Just wow! This place was insanely good! The food was delicious and quick. There was a wide variety of cocktails, (which we explored extensively) and our waitress was delightful. We had the duck entree and gnocchi, and lamb main. I would recommend this full heartedly to anyone in the mood for good food and an awesome atmosphere.

Was so skeptical as from the profile it comes off aspretentious and we were all feeling more in the mood for tapas. The atmosphere was unexpectedly laid back . Staff were relaxed and friendly. Everything was exceptional from bread roll to mains and all of the cocktails in between!Entrees were – duck breast -beetroot saladMains – pumpkin gnocchi – lamb rump – pork belly. Everything was absolutely sensational. Cocktails were also exceptional. Too full for dessert unfortunately. Pricing is not at all unreasonable .

The setting was nice and cozy though a bit too noisy. The menu I thought was interesting and had a range of options. The service however was so slow – had to wait 45 mins for an entrée and another 30 mins for the mains. Now the food – I had the stuffed zucchini flower and it was delicious; so fresh and very well done – would highly recommend it. For mains, I had the lamb with peas. I have to say the flavours were there. But the lamb wasn’t cooked well. The meat was cold in the middle and part of the meat was still raw while other parts were medium. I liked the combination of flavours. This would have been a fantastic dish if it was not for the poorly cooked lamb.I decided not to even consider desert because I didn’t want to wait for another 45 mins to eat it.
