Surtaj Indian Restaurant is a lovely family run business. My partner and I, always make an effort to stop by when we’re traveling through Newcastle. The owners are very friendly and offer terrific service and the food is excellent. I highly recommend giving Surtaj a go.
Not even joking BEST INDIAN FOOD IN NEWCASTLE!!! Authentic, tasty and reasonably priced. Lovely family run the place and me and my family have gotten takeaway there for years. Only thing- vibe inside the restaurant can be a bit flat sometimes so I stick to takeout. Absolutely awesome!
