Good varied menu with healthy and traditional pub style food. Small portions and they weren’t generous with the prawns on the prawn pizza. Ceviche was tasty. Friendly service but we had to get our own plates and cutlery when it wasn’t overly busy. Wouldn’t rush back.

There are better choices. Simply put; the food tasted OK, but let me emphasis, just OK, however it was extremely overpriced considering the type of food and restaurant – The snapper & scallop pie has less seafood in it than a fish finger, the steaks tickling $40 a go were not much larger than a MacDonald’s patty and the entrees were something you’d expect at the local bowling club. To top it all off the staff did not give a hoot whether you were there spending your money or not.Personally will never return and shall not recommend it to anyone.

I had the Tues night special. A choice of 2 pastas. I had the mushroom pappardelle. Normally $24. Special $15. 1 x 500ml bottle of Bulmers Cider $10.I don’t normally drink, so I don’t know if that is expensive or regular price.Pasta was very nice for $15. Too expensive for $24.Waiter/barman nice enough but not attentive. If I paid full price I would be very disappointed. Not leaving a tip. Service doesn’t warrant it.View is very nice. Can see it being a great place in summer. Has potential if service was better.

If you want a nice evening by the harbour with friends for dinner and drinks, then The Landing Bar is a good choice. Food was great but lacked selection which followed by a rather lengthy wait. Worth it though. Steak was cooked to perfection and for the price I expected nothing less. Good selection of wines and beers as well for those keen for a tipple, but once again you will pay for that prime harbour side real estate. All in all. Ill be back again.
