Went here with a work group for a team dinner. Â The banquet meal was really small and surprisingly bland. Â And as for the prices, seriously terrible value for money notwithstanding the underwhelming food. We will not be back as there are better options available locally.
Food is good; but very expensive. We wanted to share a meal between two of us. But the waiter declined to take the order. It’s okay if they have issues with sharing a banquet. However, it was communicated in a very insulting way. He was harsh, and loud. His behaviour was very rude. Never again
I would urge anyone to try this his cozy, romantic and atmospheric restaurant that just oozes warmth in its food, service and decor. The restaurant has a warm Iranian cave-like atmosphere that makes you feel that you’ve stepped in to another world.The staff are always friendly and helpful, and are knowledgeable their menu regarding my dietary needs. Sauces containing dairy are usually swapped with a delicious alternative. I have ordered the banquet a few times which has been a great way to sample what is on offer here. Most recently, we ordered separate meals: falafel entree and the prawn and the duck share plates. The Persian Place is not a cheap way to have a meal, but their prices certainly reflect the quality of food and service that I have come to know from the 4 visits I have made in the last few months.
The food was pretty good and tastes yum with Nice presentation. A good combination of all middle eastern food not necessarily Iranian. The staff are friendly and offer good service. Lamb shank was fantastic. The portion size for main courses was disappointing. The share plates are Not big enough to share really.
Food was great! So was service. We went there for dinner on a Sunday night, there was only one other table. Only thing that disappointed us was the serving portions for a ‘large share plate’. It’s not large, you can’t share it. It is for one.
