The cuts of meat were definitely of quality and delicious, however TINY LOL. There were lots of side dishes and good service. But It isnt the cheapest or worth it. Ps was so hungry didnt have time to take a pic of the small portion of meats.
Definitely one of the best korean barbeques ive tried in sydney! Meat were all tender and delicious! Staffs also very friendly and nice! It felt like we were in Korea. Tip: Make a reservation before coming!
The service is pathetic and staff had forgotten our orders. Average quality meat but the japchae side dish was probably the best thing here. I wouldn’t come back here
We came here with a group of friends, ordered the meat!!It was quite delicious, I liked the quality of the meat, it wasn’t poor. The service was okay, only problem was ventilation… No matter how open the door was or low those air vents were, it was so smokey inside the restaurant.Other than that, it wasn’t a bad experience!
Very dishonest people. Been to this restaurant few times, always ordered their Kimchi soup and Leek pancake. Today, pancake came with seafood and I asked them about it, was told it always comes with seafood (leek pancake, they have a different one for seafood pancake). I had it there many times, never noticed any seafood in my leek pancake, let alone big squid ring. Told the cashier when I paid, he doesn’t even bother to say anything.Mistakenly add it is one thing (I can forgive), but not lie to me.Will never return to this black shop again.
Friday night was rained out and turned into a quiet event at the local Korean BBQ. Menu has been amended (black texta style) with a fair amount of dishes and meats no longer available. This is likely due to the limited clientele in the area and the uneconomical costs of stocking the excess produce. Though it was a bit of a damper when we were trying to order and half the menu was blacked out.We settled on the bbq set for 2 at $57 as well as the bean paste stew at $12. Complimentary side dishes included the staples of bean sprouts, fish cake, kimchi, chilli daikon, lettuce salad and pickled onions. BBQ set appeared quite small when it first arrived, however the meat was ample and incredibly tasty. Wagyu oyster blade was melt in your mouth and super yummy! The stew was very flavoursome and had the perfect amount of spice for a weakling like me. We also requested an additional rice as only one was brought with the stew and was not charged extra for it. Service was very friendly and food arrived quickly. The downside, as with majority of korean BBQs is the poor ventilation despite the individual exhausts over the grills. My Korean friend’s wise advice was to air out your clothes in the backyard. My thoughts, just don’t wear your best suit and you’ll be fine.
Great Korean BBQ. Love this place, very popular with the locals. Food was very filling.
