I ordered a coffee and a second customer ordered a drink after me. They made her drink immediately, then casually took their time to make mine. The coffee was sour and definitely under extracted (weak). I have never been picky about the quality of my coffee until today. I essentially paid to drink a cup of sour milk. Would not recommend this place at all.
15+ minute wait for a T/A black coffee. Wouldn’t have minded if the coffee wasn’t so bad, but it was. Obviously not the original operators because this place was much better in the past.
We love this cafe! The food and coffee are good quality and delicious and the cafe is modern, clean and the staff are all very pleasant. 🙂
Coffee and breakfast is quite average however the service is superb. They are always so friendly here and I love their little pastries out near the register. Great location for young families and stopping over on your way into work
I took a seat as directed by the waitress as I was dining in. I sat there for 10min without being served or even acknowledged. The waitress did look at me at least 3 times. There were only a handful of customers so it was not busy. She even chatted to her friend but yet still did not take my order. I ended up walking out and went to another cafe. Absolutely shocking service!! Do not recommend at al!! Will never go back
Have and early breakfast here about 6 times a yr (most recent today). Always good food and coffee. Please bring back the omelette with leeks and fried capers, although the new dishes are good too
Best Coffee around. Great baristas, friendly staff. Best Coffee in Newington. Tasty treat with every coffee.
