Good cafe. We come here every weekend for coffee and have never had a bad experience. The sit in breakfast and lunch is not bad. For coffee they use campos
To the person behind the coffee machine at Lemon Tree Caf this afternoon, FYIwhen a customer asks you a question you don’t need to show him your bad attitude. If reflects on the establishment and yourself. I guess that’s why you are making coffee and he is not (your coffee is not good either). Plenty of coffee shops in Newington, NSW.
Worst! Bf and I visited to have brunch on Nye, waited 40 minutes because they made a mistake. This i know because I msged somebody as soon as I sat down and checked! That wasn’t the part that made me angry, because it happens. it was when the staff had explained with a dry attitude that the kitchen made a mistake and that it will be ready in 5 minutes. I waited 40 minutes for a meal that takes 5 minutes to cook. We were the only table in the cafe and they had 3 wait staff in the front area. They didn’t bother to check our order until we asked. The poached eggs – one of them had runny egg whites and one of them was overcooked. The avocado wasn’t ripe and was hard. We paid 45 dollars for our meal. I could spend 45 dollars somewhere else and have a better experience. I would’ve never written a review if the staff had apologised with more sincerity. Clearly the staff wasn’t the owner. If it was the owner i would be more disappointed.
I used to enjoy coming here their coffee and their sandwiches are great but overtime their standard has gone down the drain and their pricing is too much. I bought my chicken schnitzel sandwich the other day and I was surprise to find out how small their bread had become plus, the schnitzel itself is almost the same size as fish fingers. Too small, too expensive, not a good sandwich(cold inside, toasted bread outside). I don’t think I’ll ever come back here.
I went there yesterday to get take away coffees for myself and another employee at the office. As I drove to Newington and drove back the office I found that the one of the coffee cups seemed a bit light. Before even drinking it, I opened the cup and it was half full. I was sooo appalled. I’m a paying customer and they can’t even fill the coffee to the top. As I went back the next day they didn’t have anything to say. They’re very slow. Many of the times I have bought a coffee it has been bitter and I end up throwing it in the bin….
a small little coffee place serving campos coffee however it is a bit more bitter, not brewed as well imo as other campos places. Pricing is ok and the staff are quite nice
i took away a big brekfast there wasn’t sausage or any meat inside.and always they make coffee week even tho i pay extra shot.they put coffee half of cup sometimes.ill never go back again.
